Otis is a little superhero in his own way. This colorful little fellow is the newest character in my Mouse & Moose adventure series of early reader books. Otis was born with special needs; he doesn’t fly well, the other birds can’t always understand his chirps, and he has meltdowns when he gets overwhelmed. For all of his quirks, he is kind, open-hearted and funny. His superpower is compassion and his name says it all: Open-mindedness, Tolerance, Inclusion, Social awareness.He is the instrument for change and in his own unconventional way is leading the movement for more understanding and less judgement.
